Antique Sterling Silver Art Nouveau Belt Buckle Hearts Repousse Embossed Scroll

This Beautiful and Classic Art Nouveau Period Belt Buckle has a 2-piece Design. It has Finely Detailed and deeply Embossed with raised and Scrolling Elements on both sides that form Two Hearts. On one side of the Buckle there is a Half Moon fold over clasp that fits and interlocks into the opposite side where there is an open space that houses the clasp. Both sides have their original, tubular 1 housings where the Belt is fastened on either end. Fitted together this Solid Sterling Silver Antique Belt Buckle measures 2-5/16" across and 1-1/4" at its widest. It Weighs approximately 10.5 Grams. The back of the fold over Clasp is stamp Hallmarked, "Sterling". Overall this Antique Belt Buckle is in Excellent Condition. It has no pin holes from rubbing on the high points on the face of the embossed surface, no dents or Repairs. I apologize for the Lime Green highlights - only a reflection of what I was wearing.
