Antique VTG 1961 Oregon Assoc Mounted Posses Sterling Silver Diablo Belt Buckle

HISTORIC OLD ANTIQUE WESTERN AMERICAN VINTAGE STERLING SILVER 1961 OREGON ASSOCIATION OF MOUNTED POSSES TROPHY STYLE BELT BUCKLE- This genuine true vintage old western sterling silver belt buckle is being offered in original and as worn condition. It has a naturally aged patina and shows about average signs of use and light tarnish for a 60+ year old belt buckle.

It features a rare hand engraved design and lettering that was created by one of the talented Diablo artisan engravers of that era and was personalized with a posse members name. We think that the horse & rider image could be gold filled, wash or plated based on its maintained high gloss finish but we have not tested the metal so that is just a likely estimate. The buckle measures exactly 3" x 2", fits belts up to 1 1/2 wide and weighs about 75 grams or 2.5 ounces on our scale. We have HUNDREDS of rare old cowboy, western, rodeo & trophy belt.
