FANTASTIC VINTAGE NATIVE AMERICAN ZUNI ARTISAN ANGELITA CHEAMA. STERLING SILVER, TURQUOISE, CORAL & FEATHER BELT BUCKLE.

This pre-owned genuine Native American handcrafted sterling silver and gemstones belt buckle is in very good to excellent condition. All of the gem stones are secure in their settings and the buckle shows well below average tarnish for its age.

The design is eye catching with the diagonal feather dividing the red coral stones on top with the blue turquoise stones along the bottom. This is a small to moderate sized belt buckle, measuring 2 1/2" x 1 1/2", fitting belts up to 1 1/4 wide, and weighing about 1 1/2 to 2 ounces. We have been told that the maker/signer of the buckle ANGIE C.

Is the hallmark of Angelita Cheama, a Native American Zuni silversmith. She certainly is very talented and this is a fine example of her wonderful creations.
