This circa 1950 to 1955 (the company's years of operation) western ranger buckle is hallmarked with a star symbol and as being sterling. In addition, the accents have tested as containing some amount of gold.It has a fantastic and unusual design with a total of 7 gold accents, including a star, 2 steer, wagon wheels, horse bit, and a diamond. IT IS A SMALL TO MODERATE SIZED BUCKLE... Measuring 1 3/4" x 1 5/8" and has an opening to accept belts up to 1/2 wide. The total weight is 0.9 or just under 1 ounce.
