Old Antique Unbranded Western Sterling Silver 10K Gold Cowboy Ranger Belt Buckle
MAGNIFICENT OLD WESTERN STERLING SILVER & GOLD. SCROLLED DESIGN TEXAS RANGER STYLE BELT BUCKLE. This solid sterling silver and 10 karat gold Ranger buckle is well over 50 years old. It is a style that was very popular in the 1940's to 1960's era in western America. There is no makers hallmark on this one, which was not unusual for that era, but it is stamped "STERLING, 10K". It has a fair amount of gold in the scrolled accents, rosettes, and monogram plate. The plate is very lightly engraved with the letter "S".
The buckle measures 2 1/8" x 1 7/8", has an opening to accept belts up to 3/4 wide and weighs 27 grams or almost exactly one ounce on our scale. The condition is very nice true vintage with a naturally aged patina and it will work perfectly on your belt. We have HUNDREDS of other sterling cowboy western & rodeo belt buckles.
