This magnificent sterling silver relic from the old west features 10 karat gold accent bars around the horseshoe. There are 3 on the top, 3 on the bottom and a larger one that is a smooth front monogram plate. There is no maker hallmark. Which was not unusual with these mid 20th century cowboy buckles. The quality and the engraving is FANTASTIC...
Very highly detailed, well made, and impressive. The original owner had one monogram plate at the front lightly engraved F. , but you can easily have that removed if you'd like and place your own name or initials on either or both of the 2 front monogram plates. The buckle measures 2 1/4" x 2 1/8" and has an opening to take belts up to one inch wide. The weight on our scale is almost exactly one ounce.
