Vintage MEXICO 925 Sterling Silver Etched Dragon Ranger BELT BUCKLE 3 PIECE SET
ITEM: Vintage "MEXICO" SIGNED Engraved Etched Aztec Mayan Style Dragon Western Design Ranger Solid Sterling Silver 925 BELT BUCKLE. DESCRIPTION : Vintage Western and Aztec/Mayan style solid sterling silver 925 engraved/etched animal pattern ranger style belt buckle three piece set. The animal looks like a dragon to me but please see the photos for additional details to decide on your own.
The three pieces were together when I found them but I think one could argue it has been pieced together and not an original set but I'm not an expert. This set includes the buckle, one keeper and the tip.
Nice, heavy and well made set here! Signed/Marked on the back of buckle as "Mexico" and not marked as sterling but the entire set appears to be sterling silver. Tested with a magnet and nothing is magnetic.This would make a great addition to jewelry collection, resell in your shop, wonderful gift, for everyday personal use or wear it of course! Buckle is about 1 3/4" by 1 9/16" inch and will fit belts that are about 3/4" inches and the keeper is 7/8" by 1/4" and the end piece or tip is 1 1/8" by 3/4 inches. WEIGHT: 30.73 Grams Total. Good(-) pre-owned condition on the set with some minor notable flaws. The keeper has a bend to it and the tip has an area on the side that is splitting/separating a bit.
Perhaps some small light surface marks, wear, dings/dents, scratches/scuffs, patina, blemishes, aging/tarnishing to metal, and general wear and imperfections from age and prior use. I'm unsure if this is an original set or pieced together. Please see ALL photos for details on item and condition.
