VTG Magnificent Premium Signed Sterling Silver Open Filigree Octagon Belt Buckle
MAGNIFICENT OLD 1960's SIGNED WESTERN AMERICAN. HANDCRAFTED STERLING SILVER OPEN FILIGREE.
HAND ENGRAVED LADIES FLORAL BELT BUCKLE. This wonderful premium old vintage sterling silver buckle was hallmarked on the buckle back "STERLING" and with cursive letters that we are not familiar with. An expert we checked with thought the initials could be the maker or the original owners initials. Many of the finest 1950's to 1960's era western American sterling silver buckles were simply stamped "STERLING".
This one features high definition hand engraving and an open filigree leaf, vine, and floral design. We have not cleaned or polished it and doing so would make it sparkle even brighter... But, we will let the new owner make that decision. It already looks impressive and it still works perfectly on a belt.
The measurements are 3" x 2", fitting belts up to 1 1/2 wide, and it weighs 50 grams or 1.7 ounces on our scale. We have HUNDREDS of additional rare old western American sterling silver belt buckles.
