We would estimate it was made during the 1960's era. It shows some moderate light tarnish and signs of use, but that would be expected and normal for its age. You could clean and shine this buckle to sparkle like new again if you'd like because it is hallmarked as "COMSTOCK SILVER", which means that a heavy layer of sterling silver was BONDED (not electroplated) to the buckle surfaces. The bonding process yields an identical appearance to a solid sterling silver surface and so it improves the buckles durability and good looks.

This one has a BIG calf roping scene, blank upper and lower banners that can be engraved if you'd like, hand engraving, and a roped bronze or brass border.
